Create elements that are large and visually memorable – Kids are in their learning phase they may tend to ignore minute details.

Use bright, vivid colors that stimulate the senses – Kids like it bright colors.

Incorporate elements from nature – Kids are curious by nature.

Create depth in the design – It help them segregate design elements.

Add navigational elements that are large and easy to find – Kids are not expert in handling mouse like devices.

Use video – Moving element attracts kid’s attention.

Include printable elements – So that kids/parents could take the print out of pages they like.
